European Maine Coons

Breed Information
Champion bloodlines mean the cats in their ancestry won titles at officially recognized shows. Imported lines usually refer to cats or kittens that come from outside the U.S.—in our case, Europe.
We bring in European lines because we love the look! Wilder faces, thicker manes, and that classic square muzzle.

Adoption Process
Our kittens are priced based on their coloration and rarity.
- Standard colors (such as brown tabby, black smoke, and classic patterns) are priced at $3,000.
- Rare colorations (including black silver shaded, chinchilla, and those with specialized blue eyes) are priced at $3,400 due to their unique genetics and higher demand.
All of our kittens come with the same level of love, care, and socialization. We breed for distinctiveness, and every kitten is one of a kind.
At Distinct Felines, I no longer operate a waitlist. While I initially accepted waitlist requests, I found that many people weren’t truly ready or serious. This lead to wasted time and energy that could’ve been spent caring for the cats.
If you’re genuinely interested in welcoming a Distinct Feline into your home, I believe you’ll stay connected, keep an eye on upcoming litters, and wait until the right kitten finds you. I post updates regularly, and when the perfect match appears, you’ll know.
I like to keep things transparent, personal, and intentional. Bringing home a Distinct Feline is a big (and exciting) decision.
Here’s how it usually goes:
- Sneak peeks of new kittens are shared when they’re around 1–2 weeks old.
- Around 5–6 weeks, I begin accepting reservations. This gives me time to share plenty of photos and updates so you can see each kitten’s personality shine, and I can see who’s genuinely drawn to who.
Before any reservations are made, I require a FaceTime call. It’s important to me that we get to know each other, ask questions, and make sure it’s a great fit—for both you and the kitten.
Once a decision is made, I’ll send you a contract, and a $500 non-refundable reservation fee is due immediately to hold your kitten. This fee goes toward the total cost.
I raise every kitten like they’re staying forever, so making sure they’re placed in the right hands is everything to me.
All Distinct Feline kittens go home between 12 to 16 weeks of age, once they are fully ready—socially, emotionally, and physically.
Each kitten will come with:
• Two sets of kitten vaccinations
• A registered microchip
• A detailed DNA profile for both parents
• A personalized binder including shot records, microchip information, and lineage
• A duffle bag filled with toys, food, goodies, and a few surprises
You’ll also receive:
• A one-year health guarantee
• A certified three-generation pedigree
• A lifetime of breeder support
My priority is to ensure each kitten leaves my care fully prepared and fully loved—placed in homes that understand they’re not just buying a cat, they’re becoming part of the Distinct Felines family.

STart Your Adoption Journey
We ask that every family take a little time to learn about the Maine Coon breed before reaching out. These cats are large, expressive, social, and bred for presence. They aren’t the right fit for every household. They are also a premium breed, and we price accordingly.

This reflects the care, testing, and time that go into raising well-adjusted, well-documented kittens from imported European lines.
We don’t have a formal application. Instead, we begin with a FaceTime call to make sure it feels like the right match on both sides. If it does, we’ll walk you through the next steps from there.
Out of respect for our family, our cats, and the safety of everyone involved, we do not allow in-home visits. This is a closed cattery. We’re happy to answer any questions, provide documentation, or share updates with serious inquiries.
If you’ve gotten to this point and still feel excited to connect, we’d love to hear from you.
